MPICH is a freely available, portable implementation of MPI, MPI-2,
and MPI-3 standard message-passing interface.

Documentation on installing and using MPICH is available, as well as
manual pages for the routines and commands.

Binary packages can be installed with the high-level tool pkgin (which can be installed with pkg_add) or pkg_add(1) (installed by default). The NetBSD packages collection is also designed to permit easy installation from source.

debug
Enable debugging facilities in the package.
f90
Enable Fortran 90 support.
